One tap: open the inbound draft.

The problem

Finished work should be invoiced before you leave the driveway.

A 1-5 truck residential shop still invoices from a phone and still answers (or misses) the business number. OwnerSwitch prepares the invoice and the first reply; you approve every customer send.

Invoice-ready
finished work should leave with an owner-approved final invoice the same day.
They text or call
you review and send the first reply from the phone - not from a laptop after dark.
You approve
every OwnerSwitch-initiated customer send. Drafts can be wrong; the last look is yours.
How it works

Three steps. You still send it.

STEP 1
You mark it invoice-ready
Or they text or call the business number. That is what starts the work.
STEP 2
A draft is prepared
A suggested invoice or first reply is assembled from the job and approved business facts. Drafts can be wrong.
STEP 3
You approve from the phone
Edit first if you want. One tap sends it. Nothing goes to a customer on its own.
What OwnerSwitch does

Invoice, first reply, and one panel packet - from your pocket.

Same-day owner-approved invoice
When you mark a job invoice-ready, you review the final invoice - customer, descriptions, quantities, discounts, taxes, fees, due date, and total. After you approve it, the customer gets the hosted pay link the same day. OwnerSwitch does not set prices or tax.
First reply from the phone
When a customer texts or calls the business number, you review a suggested first reply and send it from your phone. Channel availability depends on carrier and provider activation.
Drafts you can correct
AI may prepare a reply or invoice from approved business facts. Drafts can be wrong, so you review names, dates, scope, totals, and other consequential facts before anything goes to the customer.
One job, one conversation
Keep the customer, property, active work, and approved conversation together so the invoice and the first reply have reviewable context. This is not a dispatch board or a hiring tool.
One panel-upgrade packet
For a residential panel or main-service upgrade, collect photos and documents, spot missing items, and review the packet before assisted human submission. Paperwork is a supporting case, not the lead promise.
Safety comes straight to you
Burning smell, sparks, or a shock? OwnerSwitch can flag the thread for urgent human review. It does not diagnose electrical hazards or autonomously send safety advice.
Trust & control

It works for you - not instead of you.

OwnerSwitch isn't an autonomous customer-service bot. It may prepare a draft; you review the facts and decide whether it should be sent.

You approve every message
Every OwnerSwitch-initiated business reply waits for an authorized person's review and approval.
Drafts are proposals
OwnerSwitch uses approved business context to prepare a suggestion. Drafts can be wrong, so review names, dates, scope, safety, and other consequential facts.
You control every promise
Pricing, diagnosis, scope, safety, warranties, payments, and scheduling commitments stay with you.
Your data is yours
Pilot access, export, deletion, and retention are handled through the monitored privacy process and signed pilot terms.
Synthetic suggested reply - review required
Hi Marta - thanks for the update about the outlet. Can you send a photo of the outlet and tell me when the issue started? I’ll review it and reply with the next step.
Why this reply
Supported inbound event - synthetic example
Operating pack - ask for a photo before next-step review

Why OwnerSwitch

Not a voicemail. Not a runaway bot.

Answering services take a message. Autonomous bots can send a wrong price. OwnerSwitch is for the owner who still reviews the invoice and the first reply.

PLAIN VOICEMAIL & ANSWERING SERVICES

A message taker is not an invoice.

  • A conventional service may take a message or follow a script.
  • Capabilities and human-review controls vary by provider.
  • Compare the actual service, disclosures, and contract before choosing a provider.
AUTONOMOUS AI RECEPTIONISTS

Autonomous sending has different risks.

  • Some products may support autonomous booking or customer messaging.
  • Unreviewed model output can contain a wrong fact, price, or promise.
  • Owners should compare approval, safety-escalation, and audit controls.
THE OWNERSWITCH WAY
OWNERSWITCH

You review. Then it sends.

  • When they text or call the business number, you send the first reply from the phone.
  • When you mark a job invoice-ready, they get your approved final invoice the same day.
  • A business send stays blocked until you approve it. Drafts can be wrong.

Compliance

Controls that support a reviewed messaging program.

Texting customers with AI comes with legal and carrier obligations. OwnerSwitch provides consent, opt-out, approval, and audit controls to support that work; each business remains responsible for its requirements.

Consent on file
OwnerSwitch records the approved consent basis and revocations for activated messaging. The business remains responsible for using a lawful consent path.
A2P 10DLC, guided
Business texting needs carrier registration. SMS stays disabled until the correct business Brand, Campaign, Messaging Service, and number association are verified.
AI disclosure built in
OwnerSwitch supports approved business-identity and AI-assistance disclosure copy. The exact disclosure remains subject to the business's reviewed legal requirements.
STOP means stop
The pilot must recognize the listed carrier STOP keywords, suppress future messages, record the event, and provide the required bounded confirmation. Other requests need monitored human review.
Data rights need an operator
Pilot privacy, access, export, deletion, and retention requests go through a monitored human process documented in the signed pilot terms.
You're the sender of record
OwnerSwitch acts as a tool for the business. An authorized person reviews business messages, and the business remains accountable for approved content.

MISSED CALL

A customer leaves a message about an outlet that keeps tripping while you're elbow-deep in a panel. On an activated channel, OwnerSwitch puts it in the review queue and prepares a draft that does not diagnose the issue.

You review the facts, edit the reply, and decide whether to send.
NEW TEXT

A homeowner texts the business number about an EV charger install. OwnerSwitch drafts bounded follow-up questions from approved business facts without proposing a price.

You review the questions and send the first reply from the phone.
SAFETY MESSAGE

A customer writes about a burning smell at their panel. OwnerSwitch does not diagnose or autonomously send advice; it flags the language for urgent owner review.

You take over live using your approved emergency procedure.
INVOICE READY

You mark the panel swap invoice-ready. OwnerSwitch prepares a final invoice from the agreed work - customer, line items, tax, due date, and total - and waits.

You review the totals and send the hosted pay link the same day.
Questions

Straight answers.

Is OwnerSwitch just an answering machine?

No. When a customer texts or calls the business number, you review and send the first reply from your phone. When you mark a job invoice-ready, they get your owner-approved final invoice the same day. OwnerSwitch does not quote, invoice, or send a business reply on its own.

Will my customers know it's AI?

AI may prepare a suggested reply or invoice, and an authorized person at the business reviews and approves every OwnerSwitch-initiated customer send. The pilot uses approved identity and AI-assistance disclosure copy where required; each business remains responsible for its legal obligations.

Do I keep my current phone number?

The pilot starts with an OwnerSwitch-managed number after carrier activation. Number porting is not promised; keep your existing phone and email fallback available during setup.

What happens with a safety emergency?

OwnerSwitch does not diagnose hazards or autonomously send electrical safety advice. It can flag urgent language for the owner. For an emergency, stop messaging and call 911 or the utility.

How do payments work?

When you mark a job invoice-ready, you review the final invoice and approve it. The customer then gets the hosted pay link the same day. Owner-reviewed reminders can follow. OwnerSwitch does not set prices or tax, collect partial payments, or replace your books.

Is texting my customers compliant?

OwnerSwitch provides consent records, opt-out controls, human approval, and audit trails to support a business's compliance workflow. Each business remains responsible for lawful messaging, and SMS stays off until its carrier registration and consent path are approved.

Does OwnerSwitch ever send anything on its own?

OwnerSwitch-initiated business messages require an authorized person's approval. Narrow fixed carrier-required consent or opt-out confirmations may be automatic and are recorded.
